Toni Desrosiers will also be sharing her story of building Abeego. What started as a small idea to reduce consumption of plastic has grown into a company that  was just honoured as Top 10 2016 Best Company for Small Business. Toni used her background in holistic nutrition to research the history of food preservation and she found her answer in beeswax.  Abeego is the original all natural beeswax Toni is a wonderful force of nature that believes in the healing properties of food and nature. In her talk she will be sharing about how to recognize one's personal strengths to propel one's dream forward.

We will also be having the wonderful Me-Kon Hayes who is executive director of Binkadi and Flourish Urban Gardens. This incredible woman started her organization after she saw a need for at risk youth. She runs numerous homes to house street entrenched youth. What is unique is that she has gardens all around the houses where the youth who are recovering from trauma and mental health challenges can work. They teach about the healing properties of plants and then sell the baskets and plants.

This evening is all about community, connection and collaboration!
