Join us on August 15th for a unique experience of blending techniques and philosophies of Saori weaving within a framework of circle practice. Creating a nurturing and fun environment to explore and let go of the world. Escape with us for a few hours and come away with a weave that you will cherish.

Marie was born and raised in Osaka, Japan; moved to Victoria, Canada in 2010. She has loved the creative process since childhood. Hand-woven, Reclaimed, Upcycled art, and women's fashion.. Marie is a featured artist on Pinterest.

Marie and Stephanie Papik, of Moonrise Creative & Knotty by Nature Fibre Arts will host together weaving their knowledge from over 15 years of collective experience. Learn how to apply the philosophies to rigid heddle looms. Stephanie will also offer a mini-tutorial on hand spinning for those who are curious. During the class, you will be provided one on one care and attention from all of the Moonrise Creative collaborators.
